Battle against Brysen

Ash and his friends prepare for Ash's Gym match against the Icirrus City Gym Leader Brycen, as Krokorok and Ash are pumped up to take on Brycen. They arrive at the Gym and begin to shiver due to how cold it is inside of the Gym. Iris says that Nurse Joy told her that since it is an Ice-Type Gym, then it would be very cold. Iris and Axew have a winter outfit on while inside of the Gym. Ash, Pikachu, and Krokorok run to the battlefield, as they slip and fall. Iris calls Ash a kid for rushing to the battlefield. From a balcony, Brycen welcomes them to the Gym, and says that he's looking forward to their battle. He says that because he specializes in Ice Types, the battlefield is made of ice. Brycen's apprentice serves as the referee for the battle.
The referee says that they will use three Pokémon each, and that only the challenger may substitute their Pokémon. Ash chooses Krokorok to battle first, as Brycen is surprised that Ash chose a Ground Type Pokémon which is weak against Ice Type Pokémon for the battle. Ash says that Krokorok may be at a disadvantage, but Krokorok has a lot of motivation. Brycen says that his Ice Types can't be defeated with only motivation. Brycen brings out Vanillish to battle, as Ash scans it with his Pokédex. Krokorok uses Crunch, while Vanillish uses Astonish to send Krokorok to the ground. Cilan says that Astonish makes the opponent flinch and unable to attack, while Iris says that she will have nightmares about the attack. Brycen says that it's a good thing to use unexpected methods in a Gym battle, and that if Ash was confused by it, he won't win. Krokorok uses Stone Edge, while Vanillish uses Icicle Spear, as both attacks collide and one icicle hits Krokorok. Vanillish uses Blizzard, while Krokorok uses Dig, as his body becomes frozen. Krokorok tries to break free of the ice, as Vanillish uses Mirror Shot to break the ice and knock Krokorok down. Ash returns Krokorok to his Poké Ball.
Ash brings out Scraggy to battle next, as Iris and Axew give him a lot of support. Brycen says that it's the easy road to use a Fighting Type against his Ice Types. Scraggy uses Hi Jump Kick and Vanillish dodges the attack, as Scraggy hits the large piece of ice and hits the ground. Scraggy rolls around in pain, while holding onto his leg. Scraggy uses Headbutt and Vanillish dodges the attack, as Scraggy slips around on the ice but doesn't fall. Vanillish uses Icicle Spear, while Scraggy uses his rubber pants to block the attack. Vanillish uses Blizzard around the whole area with Cilan, Iris, and Axew finding it very cold, as Scraggy prepares Focus Blast. Scraggy uses Focus Blast, as the attack ends up behind Vanillish and knocks it down to the ground. Scraggy uses Headbutt to knock out Vanillish. Iris tells Axew that Scraggy is getting stronger, so he shouldn't fall behind.
Brycen brings out Cryogonal, as Ash scans it with his Pokédex. Ash decides to stick with using Scraggy against Cryogonal. Scraggy uses Headbutt, while Cryogonal uses Rapid Spin to send him backwards. Cryogonal uses spins around to hit Scraggy a couple of times, while Scraggy uses Focus Blast but it misses Cryogonal and hits ice. Cryogonal uses Aurora Beam, while Scraggy tries to defend himself with his rubber pants but is knocked out. Scraggy wakes up and uses Headbutt on Ash, as Ash returns Scraggy to his Poké Ball. Ash brings out Pignite to battle next. Pignite uses Flame Charge, while Cryogonal uses Reflect to block the attack. Pignite uses Flamethrower, while Cryogonal uses Rapid Spin to dodge the attack and hit Pignite. Cryogonal uses Frost Breath to hit Pignite and then comes at him with Rapid Spin. Pignite uses Fire Pledge to hit the center of Cryogonal and knock it out. Brycen brings out Beartic next. Pignite uses Flame Charge, while Beartic knocks him down with Brine. Beartic knocks Pignite down with Icicle Crash, and then knocks him out with Aerial Ace. Ash returns Pignite to his Poké Ball.
Ash brings out Krokorok again for the battle. Krokorok uses Stone Edge, while Beartic uses Icicle Crash to create pillars to block the attack and send a few stones at Krokorok. Krokorok uses Crunch and Beartic uses Ice Punch, as both attacks collide and Krokorok's mouth freezes. Beartic uses Brine, while Krokorok uses his tail to jump into the air and dodge the attack. The ice finally breaks off of Krokorok's mouth, as he hits Beartic with Stone Edge. Krokorok uses Dig to burrow underground, and then he comes up to hit Beartic. Beartic grabs Krokorok's tail, spins around, and throws him against a rock and the rock breaks from the impact. Krokorok comes out of the ice, as he slaps his cheeks which make them red. Ash says that Beartic made Krokorok want to become stronger, so they must win the battle. Ash sees the stones from Stone Edge, and comes up with an idea. Krokorok uses Stone Edge, while Beartic uses Icicle Crash to create defense pillars and block the attack. Krokorok jumps to grab the Stone Edge, as Iris and Cilan remember that Bianca's Emboar did the same thing to throw stones at Trip's Conkeldurr. Krokorok moves toward Beartic and Beartic uses Aerial Ace, as both attacks collide and both Pokémon land on the ground. Beartic collapses to the ground, as Ash wins the Gym battle.
Krokorok collapses to the ground after the victory, as Brycen gives Ash and Krokorok compliments. Brycen hands Ash the Icicle Badge, as Ash, Pikachu, Krokorok, Scraggy, and Pignite celebrate the victory. Brycen suggests to Ash that he go to Opelucid City for his 8th Gym Badge. Ash decides to go there for his 8th Gym battle. As the episode ends, Iris looks very nervous about them going to Opelucid City.

Guarding the guardian of the moutian

Ash and his friends walk down a road towards Icirrus City. Cilan says that if they continue down the pathway, they will be very close to Icirrus City. Ash is very excited about his upcoming Gym match in Icirrus City, as he wonders what type of Gym it is. As they are walking down the pathway, two large boulders fall off of the cliff towards them. They run away from the boulders, as Brycen and his Beartic come down from the cliff and destroy the boulders with a strong kick. Ash thanks Brycen for saving them. Iris notices Beartic and becomes terrified of it. Cilan recognizes Brycen as a movie star, and says that he is a big fan of Brycen's. Cilan tells Ash that Brycen is a movie star from Martial Arts movies.
Cilan begins his "It's Movie Time" ritual. He says that Brycen made his debut in the movie "Freeze Beartic," and that it was very popular. He says that it was the first Martial Arts movie with fights that was very popular. Cilan is glad that he is able to meet both Brycen and Beartic that are in the movies. Cilan says that they had three very famous movies, and that he has watched all three of them. Iris asks what the movie is about, as Cilan explains that in the movie a Martial Arts tournament was held on an island where Brycen fought against a Beartic. Both Beartic and Brycen gained respect for each other after the tournament and became friends. At the end of the movie, they join forces to defeat the evil organization. Cilan says that Brycen quit before the sequel was made and didn't appear before his fans again.
Ash asks Brycen why he's in the mountains, as Brycen says that he is continuing to train with Beartic. Ash and his friends introduce themselves, and Brycen introduces himself as well. Brycen says that the rocks that fell down may have been caused by hunters. Brycen explains that the mountain is not just a dormant volcano, but also a Pokémon Reserve. He says that Pokémon hunters appear occasionally on the mountain, and that he kicks them out once he finds them. Ash asks Brycen what type of training he does in the mountains, as Brycen tells them that he will demonstrate the type of training that he does. Ash asks if he can train with Brycen, as he brings out Krokorok to train as well.
Brycen and Beartic begin with handstands, while Ash and Krokorok try and do the same. Brycen and Beartic release one of their hands, and hop around on the other hand before jumping and landing in a pose. Ash and Krokorok try to do the same, but crash to the ground while trying to lift an arm up. The next training exercise that they did, was Brycen and Beartic jumping across rocks and doing a pose. Ash and Krokorok tried to do the same, as Ash slipped and fell down to the ground while trying to go from rock to rock. Krokorok also slipped and fell while trying to jump across the rocks. Brycen breaks a large rock with his hand, while Beartic breaks another large rock with Ice Punch. Iris and Cilan are very impressed by that. Ash tries to break a large rock, but hurts his hand and runs around in pain. Krokorok also tries to break a large rock, but also hurts his hand and runs around in pain.
Brycen and Beartic jump off of a cliff and dive into water by a waterfall, before jumping onto a rock and posing. Ash is ready to do the same, but Krokorok is too scared since he does not like water. Ash tries to push Krokorok off of the cliff into the water, but Krokorok moves out of the way and Ash falls into the water. Ash realizes that without a lot of training, they will be unable to do any of the hard training that Brycen is able to do. Iris asks Brycen why he stopped appearing in movies. Brycen says that there was an accident when they were shooting the movie, that was due to his lack of training. He says that it is why he decided to once again train with his Beartic.
Everyone looks into the sky, as they see dark clouds and a lightning strike and Iris says that it can happen in the mountains usually. They look over at the mountains, as they see a red flash in the distance. Brycen says that something could be happening to the Guardian deity of the mountain Volcarona. Volcarona flies out of a bush, as a Male Jellicent and a hunter chase after it. Volcarona uses Fire Spin and Jellicent uses Confuse Ray, as both attacks collide. Volcarona flies away, as Jellicent and the hunter chase after it with a cage attached to the hunter's bicycle. Volcarona ends up in front of the mountain and is cornered, as the hunter and Jellicent catch up to it.
Volcarona uses Fire Spin and Jellicent uses Hydro Pump, as both attacks collide. Jellicent uses Confuse Ray to confuse Volcarona, as the hunter pulls out a net gun and shoots a net to capture the Volcarona. Volcarona struggles and tries to use Fire Spin, as the hunter explains that the net is fireproof. The hunter says that it can be sold at a high price, as Ash and his friends arrive. Brycen demands that the hunter lets the Volcarona go, as he says that the mountains are a Pokémon Reserve because of the Volcarona. Ash scans Volcarona with his Pokédex. Brycen says that Volcarona used to replace the sun when needed on the mountain in ancient times, which is why it's called the guardian deity of the mountain. Brycen demands that the hunter lets the Volcarona go and leave the mountain.
Brycen says that the hunter was the one who set up the rock trap from before, as the hunter admits that he was responsible for it happening. The hunter says that they should have a Pokémon battle to settle it, as Ash scans the Male Jellicent with his Pokédex. Ash decides to battle the hunter with Krokorok, as he says that he cannot forgive the hunter and will defeat him. Jellicent uses Hydro Pump, while Krokorok dodges the attack. Krokorok uses Crunch, while Jellicent dodges the attack. Jellicent uses Hydro Pump to send Krokorok flying, as he crashes to the ground. Krokorok uses Stone Edge to send Jellicent flying, and then uses Stone Edge again on Jellicent. Krokorok uses Crunch, as Jellicent uses his head to stop the attack and send Krokorok backwards. Krokorok uses Crunch again, as Jellicent uses Hex to send Krokorok hard to the ground.
Jellicent uses Confuse Ray, as Krokorok uses Dig to dodge the attack. Krokorok comes out of the ground to hit Jellicent, and then hits him with Crunch. Cilan says that Dark Type moves are super effective against Ghost Type Pokémon. Krokorok waves at them, as Ash commands for him to use Crunch again. Krokorok uses Crunch, as Jellicent uses Hex to send him crashing into the side of the mountain. Jellicent uses Confuse Ray, as Krokorok uses Dig to dodge the attack. Krokorok uses Crunch to send Jellicent hard into a rock, which impresses Iris. Krokorok moves in for the final hit, as the hunter brings out a Female Jellicent. Ash says that using two Pokémon is unfair, as the hunter says that Ash has to defeat his Jellicent and that he did not say he had only one Jellicent. The Female Jellicent uses Confuse Ray to confuse Krokorok, and then both Jellicent use Hydro Pump to send Krokorok into Volcarona and both of them into a cage. The hunter mocks Ash for helping him capture both Volcarona and Krokorok without effort. The hunter walks away, as Brycen steps forward to say that he will never forgive him and that he will protect Volcarona. Ash and his friends decide to leave everything to Brycen, as Iris mentions that it's two against one in the battle.
Both of the Jellicent use Hydro Pump, as Beartic uses Brine to stop the attack which surprises the hunter. Beartic uses Brine to send both Jellicent flying, as Iris and Krokorok are very impressed. Beartic uses Ice Punch, as the Male Jellicent uses Hex to hit Beartic. Beartic breaks through the Hex to hit both Jellicent with the Ice Punch and send them flying. Iris and Ash are very impressed, as Cilan says that the battle is better than a movie. Both Jellicent use Confuse Ray, as Beartic dodges the attack and jumps on top of their heads. Beartic hits both Jellicent with Ice Punch, as they are sent into the cage to free Volcarona and Krokorok. Both Jellicent use Hydro Pump, as Beartic dodges the attack and lands behind them. Iris frees Volcarona from the net, and tells it to get away from the area. Beartic uses double Ice Punch to send the two Jellicent and the hunter flying and into the cage.
Ash and his friends were very impressed by how powerful Beartic is. Volcarona flies away, as the sky clears up. As the sun sets, Officer Jenny shows up to arrest the hunter, as she thanks him for his help. Officer Jenny says that they've been having a lot of problems with dangerous hunters, as Brycen says that he just wanted to chase them away. Officer Jenny drives away with the hunter, as Ash thanks Brycen for his help with training and battling. Brycen asks Ash where they are heading towards, as Ash tells him they are going to Icirrus City. Brycen points out where Icirrus City is, as Ash is excited about his next Gym match. Brycen introduces himself to Ash as the Icirrus City Gym Leader, which surprises Ash. They shake hands, as Brycen says that he is looking forward to their match. Cilan says that he would've never known that Brycen was the Gym Leader. Ash and his friends head towards Icirrus City for Ash's next Gym match.

Evolution by fire

Ash and his friends walk under a sunset, as they decide to stay the night at the Pokémon Battle Club in Astilbe Town. Ash says that they should head to Icirrus City tomorrow, as they hear commotion near them. They go to a battlefield where they see a Double Battle between Suwama and Kenso. Ash and his friends are very excited to see the double battle. Ash scans Heatmor with his Pokédex. Kenso is using Mienshao and Watchog, while Suwama is using Emboar and Heatmor. Mienshao hits Heatmor with Drain Punch, while Watchog uses Slam to throw Emboar to the ground. Suwama grins, as Emboar and Heatmor get back up. Suwama says that they should show that they are the Fire Warriors, as Emboar dusts itself off. Emboar uses Hammer Arm to knock Mienshao and Watchog to the ground. Heatmor uses Flame Burst to knock out Mienshao and Watchog, as Suwama wins the Double Battle.
After the battle, Ash and his friends liked how strong Suwama's Pokémon were. They walk down the hallway, as they see Suwama intimidating the opponent that he battled. He demands that Kenso gives him one of his Pokémon and to show him all of his Pokémon. Iris runs over to Suwama and yells at him for demanding that Kenso hand over his Pokémon after losing the battle. Suwama says that it is none of their business and that they should stay out of it. Don George walks up to them and says that their battle was very good. Suwama thanks Don George, and walks away very angry. Iris asks Kenso why he battled Suwama in the first place. Kenso says that he didn't want to battle, but Suwama forced him to. He says that Suwama will do anything to gain a strong Pokémon. Ash says that it's not what Pokémon battles are about.
In the lobby area, Ash and his friends are resting as Krokorok, Tepig, Snivy, Emolga, Axew, Oshawott, Scraggy, Pansage, and Pikachu are eating Pokémon food. Tepig looks behind him and recognizes Suwama as the Trainer who left him tied to a post at the Pokémon Battle Club in Accumula Town. Tepig becomes excited, as he runs over to Suwama who is eating. Ash apologizes to Suwama and tries to get Tepig to go back to him, but Tepig leans on Suwama out of affection. Iris remembers that Tepig was an abandoned Pokémon, as Ash recalls the day that he found Tepig and released it from the rope that was around its mouth. Iris angrily says that it has to be the same person, as she runs up to Suwama.
Ash asks Suwama if he was the one who abandoned the Tepig that Ash was able to help and capture. Iris yells at Suwama for abandoning Tepig, as Suwama says that since he can do what he wants then he was allowed to abandon Tepig. This makes Iris even more upset, as she tells Suwama that he must apologize to Tepig. Suwama says that Tepig has no talent, as he picks Tepig up and throws him at Ash with Ash catching Tepig. Cilan says that it's Judgement Time, and that he is a Trial Connoisseur. He puts on his judge outfit, as spotlights shine down on the courtroom with everyone inside. Ash is the prosecutor of the abandonment case, Suwama is the defendant, and Iris and the Pokémon are on the sides of the courtroom.
While being very nervous, Ash explains that Suwama tied Tepig up with a rope and abandoned him. He says that it was a terrible experience for Tepig, as Tepig looks down with a sad face. Iris yells that Suwama is guilty for sure, as Cilan tells Iris that she has to be quiet. Cilan says that if Iris doesn't listen, that he will throw her out of the room while Iris looks very upset about that. Suwama says that it was a misunderstanding, and that it was for Tepig's own good. He says that abandoning a talentless Tepig is better than forcing a talentless Tepig to battle, while Tepig looks very sad about that. Ash yells at Suwama, while Cilan tells the Suwama to continue. Suwama says that releasing it since it has no skill and letting it live freely, makes Tepig a lot happier. Cilan begins to think that Suwama's statement sounds reasonable.
Ash wonders why Suwama tied Tepig up with a rope, as Iris and the other Pokémon agree. Oshawott is bored of the trial and is sleeping, while Iris and the other Pokémon look down after speaking out again. Suwama says that Tepig tried to follow him after being released, and that he has no use for a talentless Pokémon even if it follows him around. Tepig looks sad, as Ash says that it shows that Tepig really wanted to follow Suwama. Iris yells that deciding that a Pokémon has no talent and then abandoning it, is the worst thing someone can do. Cilan says that it is reasonable as well, as the others have no idea what Cilan is referring to. Don George suggests that they find out the answer by battling each other, as Suwama says that he'll accept the challenge if it is a Double Battle. Suwama says that Ash should battle him if he thinks that Tepig stands a chance against his Fire Warriors, as Ash says that he will win no matter what. Ash says that if he wins, then Suwama has to apologize to Tepig.
Snivy wants to battle with Tepig, as Cilan recalls that Snivy had parted ways with a Trainer once as well. He says that it is the reason Snivy is worried, as Ash tells Snivy that they will work together to win. Ash tells Suwama that he will be using Tepig and Snivy in the battle, as Suwama says that he will be battling with Emboar and Heatmor. Don George tells everyone that the battle will begin tomorrow morning. Ash says that he will make sure Suwama realizes that he was wrong, as Suwama says that Ash will just prove him right instead. Sparks fly between them, as Tepig looks worried.
That night Tepig walks underneath a tree to sit and look at the moon in the sky. Tepig remembers what happened between him and Suwama. A full flashback is shown of the day that Tepig was abandoned. Suwama lets Tepig out of his Poké Ball, as he says that Tepig is not suited for battles. He says that he is going to release Tepig so that he can live freely, as he walks away. Tepig runs to him and holds onto his leg, so Suwama ties Tepig to a post. Suwama says that he can't take Tepig with him and says goodbye, as he walks away. Tepig tries to go after Suwama with tears in his eyes while the rope holds him back, as Suwama walks further out into the distance.
Tepig begins to cry in the present day, as Ash and his friends arrive. Tepig shakes off the tears, as Ash says that they should train for tomorrow's battle. Tepig looks down very sadly, as Cilan thinks that Tepig is not able to forget about what happened with Suwama. He says that Tepig may be hesitant about battling Suwama. Iris is shocked about that, as she says that Tepig is too good of a Pokémon to feel that way. Snivy uses Vine Whip to hit Tepig's cheek, as she tries to give Tepig a pep talk. Tepig shakes off the sadness, and looks serious and ready to go. Ash says that it is time to train, and that they should do what they can to defeat Suwama.
The next day at the Pokémon Battle Club, Don George announces the start of the Double Battle. Ash brings out Snivy and Tepig, as Tepig looks over to Suwama. Snivy looks ready to go, but Tepig is very worried about facing Suwama which Ash notices. Suwama brings out his Emboar and Heatmor with them ready to go, as Iris yells that Snivy and Tepig can't lose to Suwama after everything that he did. Snivy uses Leaf Storm, while Emboar uses its arm to block the attack. Tepig prepares to launch Flamethrower, but he doesn't want to attack his former trainer and sadly looks down. Emboar uses Hammer Arm to send Tepig hard to the ground. Cilan says that Tepig appears to not want to fight. Ash wonders if Tepig is still unable to forget about Suwama, as Tepig again looks down sadly.
Suwama says that they make him laugh which makes Ash upset, as Suwama says that when he abandons a Pokémon that he will pretend to suffer from it as well. He says that he does that because Pokémon would be tagging along forever, and that a Pokémon will give up if he pretends that the farewell hurts him as well. The flashback of Suwama is shown again, this time with Suwama walking away with a smile on his face. He is relieved to finally be rid of Tepig since he doesn't need a weak Tepig, and decides that he needs a new Tepig that has more talent as he walks away laughing.
Meanwhile, Tepig is shocked after hearing that, as he is completely crushed and falls to the ground. Ash yells at Suwama for doing that, as Suwama says that a Pokémon Trainer must seek talented Pokémon. Ash says that it is unforgivable, and that he won't forgive Suwama no matter what. Tepig is crying his eyes out, as Iris says that Ash can be motivated to win but with Tepig like that they will be in trouble. Pikachu looks sad about the whole thing as well, as Snivy tries to get Tepig to get it together and battle. Ash asks Snivy if she can battle for Tepig, as Snivy says yes.
Snivy uses Attract to infatuate Emboar, and then uses Vine Whip to hit Emboar. Suwama commands Heatran to hit Emboar with Fury Swipes, while it surprises Ash. Heatmor uses Fury Swipes on Emboar, as Emboar is freed from being infatuated and smacks its face. Everyone is shocked that Heatmor attacked Emboar to free him of infatuation. Heatmor uses Fire Spin and Emboar uses Flamethrower, while Snivy is able to dodge Flamethrower but Tepig is still hit with Fire Spin. Heatmor hits Snivy with Fury Swipes, and then Emboar uses Heat Crash to land right on top of Snivy which shocks everyone. Snivy is barely able to get up afterwards, as she gives Tepig a pep talk to Tepig's surprise. Cilan says that Snivy and Tepig will be able to pull through, as Don George declares that Snivy is still able to fight.
Ash tells Tepig to do its best, and asks if Tepig understands Snivy's feelings. Snivy looks over to Tepig with a serious face, as Tepig snaps out of it and puts on a serious face as well. Tepig uses Flame Charge, as the attack hits both Heatmor and Emboar at the same time. Ash says that Tepig is strong, and Suwama loses for saying that he is talentless. Suwama says that Ash raised Tepig well, but it's not enough to raise Tepig to the top. He says that enduring attacks and then hitting them with even more power is the way Pokémon standing at the top fight. Heatmor and Emboar get back up, as Emboar dusts himself off.
Emboar uses Flare Blitz and Heatmor uses Fire Spin, as the Fire Spin wraps around the Flare Blitz. Cilan says that combining the attacks, it gains more power and he calls it Super Flare Blitz. Suwama says that dealing the finishing blow while taking damage themselves, is the deadly full course of the Fire Warriors. Emboar approaches with the attack, as Tepig is too scared to move. Snivy pushes Tepig out of the way and takes the hit, as she is knocked out. Ash praises Snivy and tells her to rest inside of her Poké Ball, but realizes that Snivy wants to watch the rest of the battle. Ash tells Tepig to do his best, with everyone rooting for him. Tepig looks serious, lets out flames, roars, and then begins to glow. Tepig evolves into Pignite, as he lets out a roar. Ash scans Pignite with his Pokédex, and notices that Pignite now has a new move.
Suwama says that even though Tepig evolved, he still doesn't stand a chance against his Pokémon. Pignite uses Fire Pledge, as he lets out flames, punches the ground with pillars of fire coming out, as the pillars surround and hit Heatmor and Emboar. The attack causes major damage to everyone's surprise. Pignite uses Flame Charge to knock out Heatmor and Emboar, as Ash wins the Double Battle. Everyone celebrates their victory, as Cilan says that a verdict doesn't need to be said since it's obvious who was right all along. Ash praises Pignite, while Suwama returns Heatmor and Emboar to their Poké Balls.
Suwama walks over to Pignite with Pignite turning around with a serious look on its face, as Ash asks if he has anything more to complain about. Suwama says that he acknowledges that he lost, as he apologizes to Pignite. He says that he made a mistake when he said that Pignite had no talent back then. Suwama says to Pignite that if he can't forget about him, then he will let Pignite return to him. Suwama says that Pignite should team up with him instead of being with the lackluster trainer Ash, as he says that they should aim for the top as new warriors. Pignite uses an angry Flamethrower to Suwama's face, and then happily walks back to Ash. Ash says that Pignite is his precious friend, and that he's not going anywhere. Suwama says remember me, as he runs away from them. Ash says to Pignite that they will always be together. Pignite agrees and smiles, as Cilan and Iris happily running towards them.
